Summer Pest Control
Summer is the epicenter of pest-related issues, and it is unrelenting until the weather turns cold. There are so many resources — food, water, and shelter — available during the summer that pest populations boom. It does not matter if your house is clean or not. It does not matter if you’ve just moved into a newly built home. Summer pests are coming.
Summer Pest List
The list of pests that show up in summer is long. Ants, cockroaches, rats, wildlife, pigeons, bats, flies, wasps, raccoons, stray animals, mice, squirrels, wasps, bees, bed bugs, termites, the list is ongoing.
There are indoor pests, outdoor pests, and ones that bug your pets. For example, there is that horrible buzzy whine of a mosquito when you turn off the light and the distant crash of a raccoon emptying the garbage can. Your pets also suffer from fleas, wasps, ticks, snakes, and feral animals.
Summer is a rough time of year, thanks to many of these pests.
The Long of It
Some pests are more problematic during the winter or cooler times of the year. Those include mice, rats, squirrels, cockroaches, bed bugs, birds, and bats. Some pests have a very short lifecycle, which means they breed like crazy, and suddenly your kitchen is filled with fruit flies. These types of pests are why we approach pest control intending to keep pest populations small. Few pests are less of a bother.
The Good News
The good news is that Swoboda Pest Control can help. We have a deep understanding of pests, their life cycles, and habits. That knowledge allows us to quickly and safely control pest populations.
Our services are one-time emergency visits or affordable ongoing services. When you enlist in our ongoing pest control program, we make a monthly visit and spray or bait for emerging pests.
Summer does not have to be a pest-ridden event. However, if something is bugging you, give us a call.
